A great value whole series box set up containing a novella at the terminate that gives them a bit more than of a finish to the story. This is a slow-fire reverse harem story which contains some explicit sexual content in places. Very enjoyable.#ane Claimed by Gods - 5*
Aria Watson (Ari) is streetwise and thought she had handled everything life had already thrown at her. She was determined to stay away from the criminals she worked for and relieve her little blood brother from their Mum's firm. Then she suddenly died and woke up with iv incredibly hot gods telling her she is at present a Valkyrie. Loki is sharp and crafty, Thor is jovial and very ferocious, Baldur is very compassionate and Hod is very grim and secretive. Information technology seems their king (Odin) is missing and they need Ari to notice him and aid rescue him. Seems I'm the iv Valkyrie - the previous three never fabricated it back. Can all the new skills I have and every pull a fast one on I have from my life before I died help in this huge task.? Also, what am I going to do about these hot gods that are getting nether my skin?
Wow, this book merges together seamlessly the modernistic-day American life with Norse mythology into a story with lots of drama and activeness interspersed with soft emotional moments that definitely fabricated you consume and accept a moment earlier continuing to read. Ari was a delightful character that I'm sure anybody can clearly see in my listen and understand how she was feeling or behaving. It was well written and all the thoughts and emotions of the characters were clear and piece of cake to feel and empathise with. Corking start to what promises to be a great series.
#2 Leap to Gods - 5*
Aria Watson had been brought dorsum from the dead by four hot Norse gods to be their Valkyrie and having got used to her new powers they together with Freya suddenly find themselves trapped in a prison that looks like their domicile Valhalla but is fake. While trapped there, moments from their past are brought back and they have to live through those memories something that appears to be universally unpleasant. It is certainly an eye-opener for them all to relive and understand the impact by behaviours have had on each other - even if often Aria seems to get an arbiter between them trying to stop the hurt and facilitate better relations between them. It meant that big parts of the book went deeper into the characters of each of them and understanding their motivations and the issue that actions tin can have on others. I recall at the end of it I understood all of the characters much better and they all became ameliorate because of their emotional journey. Loki became more than serious, Thor learnt a scrap more diplomacy and that fighting all the time was not the solution, and I understood a lot more about Hod and Baldur and how they might be very dissimilar only there really were similarities betwixt them equally I would expect with them being twins. Information technology was great to understand Freya better as earlier this she was very much on the sidelines. I think they too understood Aria better as well and and then information technology ended up with a test of trust in each other and whether they could accept, forgive and move on from their own traumas of the past. Well written, a pleasure to read such powerful character building and I tin can't wait to find out what happens next.
#3 - Falling for Gods - 5*
Aria Watson is a Valkyrie and as her powers grow she becomes closer to her four gods in their habitation of Asgard. Her hopes of a serenity life and fourth dimension to enjoy their company is not likely as the ability-hungry giant Surt is determined to have over the earth and Odin seems to have become fatalistic about how this whole situation will terminate. Ari and her gods have many battles and negotiations with the different parties involved in the conflict. Will they succeed and so she tin have a quiet life she would quite like to have or will something happen to change things?
Wow - lots of danger and drama in this instalment of the series. I loved the way Ari's relationship with the gods was developing and how they were all having distinct features in how their personalities adult and matched. Ari became a stiff woman and who knew what she wanted and went for it in this book no matter who she needed to talk to to get it. I loved the way she was able to persuade all the different people to see her way of thinking and adapt to the situations she found herself in. The knowledge of mythology and the gods involved past the writer was very detailed, and all that knowledge fabricated this book and the rest of the series very rich and full of detail. Well written it was easy to empathize and barbarous the frustrations, thoughts and emotions of the characters.
#4 - Waking the Gods - 5*
Aria Watson is a Valkyrie and when Surt appears in Asgard with a huge army determined to take over the realms of the Gods and the humans. Aria and her 4 Golds presently realise that they cannot possibly defeat him on their ain and so they seek to find all of the other Gods who are scattered all over the place. When they are all gathered, Ari has to struggle with both her own self-uncertainty and the doubts of the other Gods with her abilities and the worth of any contribution, she might make. Can they win the fight for their lives also as their habitation in this win or lose all scenario?
I loved this story which is the last of the series. Information technology was packed with action, drama, danger, emotion, and lots of character development. Ari definitely came into her own in this story and it besides showed a really nice strengthening of the relationship between her and her four God lovers. It was great to come across how much they obviously cared for each other and that information technology was a relationship and not just a physical affair, I loved the manner the story finished and what was promised for the future - I just wish we had more stories on the way in the serial in lodge to explore their relationships and skills more. Recommended.
#five - Living with Gods - 5*
Aria Watson is a Valkyrie and together with her 4 gods she revisits someone special to her and attends their wedding reception where they end upwardly removing some uninvited guests. That and so gives the gods to surprise her - will she agree to turn down their asking?
I loved this sweetness story which nicely added a bit more of a decision for them all. Information technology was nice to see all of the emotions for them all being discussed. I loved the way it finished. Well written and easy to read and understand.

This is a swell book that I devoured very chop-chop. Now I just accept to wait for the next 1 to observe out what happens to Ari and her gods.

I read advanced copies of all of these books equally they were released. My reviews are included below and were all voluntary.Claimed by Gods
This is a great book that I devoured very quickly. At present I but take to expect for the side by side 1 to find out what happens to Ari and her gods.
Ari is doing her best in a dog eat dog earth. Though she ofttimes thought she might come to a bad end she did not await information technology to be in the course of a crazy guy going the wrong way on a one-mode street. Jeepicide. She wakes upwardly to the sight of five people looking at her naked body. What the?? The 4 guys were good-looking and all, but jes. When she catches a glimpse of a wing, plain fastened to her back, she can't take whatsoever more. Death is just weird.
Five gods, well Loki denies being an actual god, have brought her back every bit a Valkyrie to help them find Odin who has been missing for a long time. Without him they can't render habitation and they are ready to get back to Asgard. They have tried with several Valkyries before Ari, simply they left and never returned and so this fourth dimension they went about it a little differently. Instead of finding someone pure of centre they went with someone a piffling more cutthroat and street-wise. Thank you.
The five gods are Loki, Thor, Baldur, Hod, and Freya (technically a goddess). Freya is Odin's wife and Thor, Baldur, and Hod are sons. Loki is a claret-brother to Odin. I volition let you lot sort the remainder out yourself. Be assured that Ari is not easily convinced that condign a Valkyrie is in her best involvement. She has someone she needs to protect, and she can't do that from Asgard. There is also the picayune matter of dark elves that seem to have an agenda on earth, and are definitely not her friends. And then in that location are the 4 HOT gods. What'due south a daughter to do?
Bound to Gods
The second book in the serial was pretty good. Aria, Freya, Hod, Loki, Baldur, and Thor are trapped in an alternate Asgard where things wait the aforementioned but are very, very different. Every bit the raven shifter, Muninn, does her best to torment the gods with their pasts, Aria must figure out how to go them out there. Each of the gods has dark events from their past that Aria must help them overcome in lodge to weaken the illusion that Muninn has created using their memories. With no food or water that they can consume, time is running out and even Aria has dark memories that can exist used against her. I can't await to detect out what happens next.
Falling for Gods
I am loving this serial of Eva's. Now that Odin has been rescued and everyone is back in Asgard, things are a picayune chip different for Aria and her gods. Odin is on the throne and is making his presence known, though not all of his sons trust him similar they once did. Their time in Munin'southward prison has brought to light some holes in Odin'south personality and uncovered his schemes. Aria and the gods know they need to observe a style to defeat Surt and his zombie army before he destroys Asgard and Midgard (the human realm).
Join the patched together Valkyrie and her gods equally they work their ain plans for righting the wrongs done to the other realms, and defeating Surt. Not everything is every bit it seems, and allies can be found in unlikely places. Intrigue and battles await!
Waking the Gods
Loved the finale of the series. Just when Aria and her gods thought they had neutralized the threats against the realms, they are thrust back into the fray. Asgard is lost to Surt and he is coming for Midgard side by side. Aye, earth is adjacent on the radar.
As the gods scramble to find allies, and Aria feels her contribution is somehow lacking. She can't fight Surt, indeed he seems intent on killing her first, and she feels she is a distraction to the others in battle. As more Asgardians are in the found, she is looked down upon by the new arrivals. Adamant to save HER world, she realizes she volition have to phone call on some former acquaintances for assist. Things are going to get worse before they get better. They will go better, right?

Eva has done it again - created some other astonishing storyline about a world and events happening next to/within our own that humans fail to see. Claimed past the Gods :
Eva has done information technology again - created another amazing storyline nearly a globe and events happening next to/within our own that humans fail to meet. A thrilling tale of gods on earth (Midgard to them) and of a young woman trying to make her mode in life, brand ends meet and intendance for her brother and the major turn her life takes. I love information technology! From the start I was drawn into this intriguing storyline. Each character is then well defined, present, believable, and dare I say...HOT - I hateful we ARE talking about Norse gods here! I can definitely get addicted...I know I may be greedy, but....MORE please!
Jump to Gods:
A great installment that gives Aria more answers about her gods and herself while opening the door for new questions. In their continued quest to discover Odin, their group notice drama, chaos, fear, anguish, strength and beloved all fight to the surface. Only as Aria knows she, herself is non perfect, in learning more than of their past, she discovers Balder, Thor, Hod and Loki all have a dark side and secrets they would similar to keep to themselves. When and if they find Odin, will all be well, all questions answered, or has the intrigue just begun? The character evolution and flow of the plot brand for a riveting story.! Tin can't wait to notice out what happens next!
Falling for Gods:
Eva gives us some other fantastic installment in this reverse harem series. Aria's forcefulness and backbone took no prisoners ..including Odin! I loved that she got in his face up and call him out..not afraid to stand up up to the gods and the Allfather.
Once again, I enjoy the author's have on Loki - commonly seen as the prankster and causing problem - but, here, he seems sometimes as lost, uncertain, and seeking...something..every bit we all are. Sure the mischievous elements are there, simply he is so much more.
The strength of Ari'south relationship with each of her gods shone through brightly. She sees and understands parts of them that they may not even realize themselves - deepening their love and delivery to each other.
Merely..it seems Surt is resilient and their work is anything but finished! Can't wait for the continuation!
Waking the Gods:
I take truly enjoyed this series, and book#4 is not different! Throughout, Aria has been learning her new abilities and the true strength and intelligence she has always possessed. Thor, Baldur, Loki, and Hod have been by her side, encouraging and loving their Valkyrie. But that doesn't lessen her feelings of inadequacy in the presence of all the new gods showing up to assistance in their battle.
Existence Aria, she finds a style and the umph within herself to overcome obstacles, and show her worth, all why putting her ain swing on things. And the scene when she finally is able to use and control one of her special gifts to save her heart - I was alternate between crying my optics out and yelling " You get, girl!".
Book#4 is a great conclusion to a wonderfully entertaining serial

Non all about Thor 😁Don't become me incorrect I definitely like Thor. But between him and Loki It kind of gets former hearing a bunch of the same old stories. This is definitely a fresh and modern take On some old gods. Sorry if this reads weird I'm doing talk to text. I really wish I can read the books individually but overall for the whole serial I give information technology a 5. At that place were a couple of parts where I was Kind of Thinking information technology was redundant. I hateful there was reason to it merely it felt like more than of a filler. I wish I could exist specific merely I don't wanna do annihilation for anybody else or taint the way that they call back virtually The series. Don't go me wrong Thor and Loki In there As well as a few other gods that aren't mentioned a lot. I do wish in that location was a little chip more in the love scene department. I definitely experience in that location was a lot of miss opportunities at that place. I mean I definitely didn't want the books to exist saturated in information technology That a piffling more would have been nice . I did leave a review for the 1st Book because I bought that separate from the box set and it won't permit me Post individual reviews.. Simply I wanted to refer to that 1 mentioning that amount of time they spent together Overall with relatively short and I experience similar that could have been extended a little flake Through the training. Again trying non to requite spoilers but I feel similar information technology would have been A petty amend that way. Plus to peradventure add some preparation in with another book And which they're trapped in a prison similar world which again try not to Give spoilers. I've read some other reviews and all I tin can say as yous gotta think these are gods they've been around they've seen things they washed things For years and years so information technology'due south non unrealistic that they would be comfy in the situations that they would be or that they have their feelings they would and and so it's i of the biggest Kudos that I could get the author She actually I feel got in the head of where it would be similar to exist eternal. At least how I think it would exist eve forget somethings are you lot don't recognize that you can exist something other. And affair affair is being moral sometimes you strive for meliorate For so long yous don't understand that life short and you lot should pause to enjoy. Again I apologize for all the grammatical errors. I did have to do talk to texts and that'south miserable but I did non wanna leave a review All this is fresh in my mind. This is definitely worth the purchase. I likewise think you would make a great gift. Read on readers and remember to ever review.

I bought the whole serial on Audible, very grateful it was merely 1 credit!Eva Chase has over again created a brilliant bandage of characters, including the MFC who I apace adored.
Love how this links to Norse mythology, it genuinely feels like nosotros learn more most each of the Gods, with lovely lilliputian links to their myths and origin stories. I've always though Odin was a control freak alphahole, and he is. Fifty-fifty towarss the finish I can't forgive his lack of perspective. However I adore Loki, and for more the Tom Hiddleston visual lol.
Hot, steamy scenes, though the books has less than I'd like tbh, Eva doesn't need them. You invest and evolve with her characters and so much, the brief passion is enough, and almost feels unnecessary (simply please don't stop including them).
I've read so many of her books now, and have still to suffer any disappoinment at all. In my superlative three authors of all time (which says alot as I read hundreds of books each twelvemonth).

...moreY'all, I think I love this fifty-fifty more than The Dragon Shifter's Mates (and I adored that series entirely)! The combination of an intriguing plot, fascinating and lovable characters, the interwoven Norse mythology, and the steeeam made an absolute smash hit series! It took me a scrap to get into volume one (I'd merely finished an omegaverse duet and was dealing with a book hangover), but one time I did, I was gone. Loki and Hod were my favorite favorite guys, but I truly did love them all!
I dear it when a book draws you in enough to feel the emotions of the characters! This is a great serial with some fun little twists to some of the Norse mythology. It's heady to come across how the modern world blends with the ancients in these books and makes certain at that place information technology's never a slow moment. Lots of activity, lots of love and a lilliputian sadness. I couldn't stop until I finished there whole set!
